Launch sources
- Federal Register API for official documents, agency metadata, document type, publication and selected key dates, and official links
- Regulations.gov API for docket and document relationships when a valid API key is configured
- Selected agency libraries and feeds only through explicit, monitored adapters
Known limits
- No claim of complete federal, state, and local coverage
- State sources are added state by state after source and rights review
- Agency source availability, schema changes, and update delays can affect freshness
- EPA ECHO and other enrichment data retain their own completeness and refresh caveats
Freshness behavior
Each source stores cadence, last success, last error, and ingestion history. A stale source creates a visible warning and an operational alert; it does not silently appear current.
